A teacher that listens
Zip listens to reading aloud, finds the tricky words and practises them together. On the family plan, your child can also talk with Zip for 3 minutes after reading.
A reading coach for understanding
10 minutes a day. A 2-minute reading finds the starting point, the goal comes from your child’s own reading, and progress is measured every week.
Android version coming soon.
One number
Every reading measures two things together: how many words per minute and how much of the text was understood. Multiply them and you get Reading Power. Speeding up without understanding earns nothing; if understanding drops, the pace eases by itself.
Example. Every child’s number comes from their own reading.
How it works
Start without an account. After a few quick questions your child reads a short text and answers 3 questions. There is no right or wrong; we just find the starting point.
The goal comes from your child’s own reading, not a grade table. Slower starters get a bigger leap; if the goal is reached early, it rises.
A warm-up game, a new text written around their interests, comprehension questions and word cards. Different every day, always at their level.

Personal goal
Every child grows at school anyway. ZoomRead estimates that natural growth from the gap between grade goals and shows the extra gain on its own, so you can see clearly what comes from the app.
This chart is an example. The real goal is calculated from the first reading and adjusted at every weekly check.
What’s inside
Zip listens to reading aloud, finds the tricky words and practises them together. On the family plan, your child can also talk with Zip for 3 minutes after reading.
Texts and instructions are read in a warm, natural voice, so even new readers understand every exercise by listening.
Eye speed, word hunt, phrase reading, ordering, prediction. Outside the daily session, children can open any activity freely.
Space, animals, football, fairy tales… Every text comes from topics your child picked, and no text is read twice.
Turkish, English, Spanish, German, French and Arabic. Each language keeps its own level, goal and progress.
One account everywhere. To use the web, just scan a QR code with ZoomRead on your phone, like WhatsApp Web.
The change in Reading Power, the words that were tricky and small tips for home. No jargon.
A round “read” by skipping parts or stopping halfway doesn’t count. The child is told why, kindly.
For parents
There are no ads and no links leaving the app.
Children never message anyone. Zip only talks about the text just read.
Settings, reports and purchases sit behind a maths question.
Reading aloud is only used for measuring and is not recorded by default.
No advertising ID, no third-party analytics, no tracking tools.
ZoomRead is a reading coach. It does not diagnose any learning difficulty or claim to treat one.

FAQ
Grades 1 to 9 (ages 6–15). New readers start in fluency mode, fluent readers in speed-and-understanding mode; the switch is decided by the weekly checks.
We suggest 10 minutes. During setup you can pick 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes and the program length adapts.
No. Speed alone is never rewarded. Reading Power multiplies speed by understanding; if understanding drops, the goal eases. We make no exaggerated speed claims.
Turkish, English, Spanish, German, French and Arabic. Children can switch reading language on the home screen; each language keeps its own progress.
Reading aloud is turned into text to find which words need practice and is not stored by default. A parent can opt in to keep recordings; they are deleted within 24 hours.
